Raised on a wild blend of hip-hop, rock, reggaeton, and disco in Jersey City, Jerome didn’t stand a chance at liking just one genre. After a move to the west coast, Vegas hit him with a tidal wave of EDM and, like anyone who’s been dragged to a rave or club and ended up having the time of their life, he surrendered. Somewhere in the journey, he found not only his escape, but his sound.

His love for music runs deep, back to the days of watching his dad play his favorite tracks nonstop. The man knew every lyric, every artist backstory, and somehow made storytelling through sound look easy.

Jerome's sound? A genre blending cocktail of real life feels, served loud af. He’ll take a conversation or a passing spiral, flip that sample into a track, and test it live that same night, ideally with a crowd feeling it just as hard. Think high energy, sub-genre-fusing edm, with lots of bass and catchy samples. For inspiration, legends Fred Again and Skrillex top the list, both known for turning every moment into a dancefloor meltdown. It’s no surprise that the best show Jerome’s ever seen was Fred Again at CRSSD Fest in 2022!

His debut track on Sweet Heat Records, "WORK", is fueled by that feeling we all know—putting in the work and sometimes going unseen. But instead of slowing down, he turned it into motivation and made a track that hits just as hard as the hustle behind it. Many EDM fans will be adding this one to their gym playlist.

Despite his natural social energy, Jerome is also the kind of person who deeply values alone time (me too, friend). When he’s not in the crowd, he’s probably recharging in silence. And through it all, his hope is that people, especially other artists, feel empowered to genre-hop and get weird. According to him, the best thing you can do is follow the truth of what you're feeling in the moment, even if it doesn't fit the mold.

Jerome, who takes the stage as Jeromyrome, has a few shows lined up and plenty more in the works—so you’ll want to follow along!
